Affect Capital is also at its core an investment maker.  Our team will directly provide equity capital necessary to get the deal done.  We also maintain lending relationships to assist in the recapitalization of the business.

Investment Thesis (North Star): The future of American tangible product businesses outside of the software/technology industry will be centered around owning manufacturing, production, molds, patents, etc. There will be a squeeze of middlemen with eCommerce, super marketplaces (Amazon), and expansion of direct to consumer (DTC). You have to "own the product" and master the DTC and distribution of those products completely to extract a worthy margin. Along the way creating content to engage the customer base.

Our Angle: We want to work with companies who operate in sizeable markets, that are consumer staples to life, that are made up of duopoly - oligopoly players with barriers to entry. We can implement DTC best practices and bring our experiences and relationships to the table to instantly add value.
